Domestic Airline operator, PassionAir, will resume travels on its Takoradi route beginning Friday, October 30, 2020 with fares starting from GH¢249.
The Carrier confirmed to the businesszoneonline that plans are far advanced to soon begin flights to the Bono Regional capital of Sunyani, before the end of year 2020.
“We will be starting the Takoradi route with a 3-weekly flight to and from Accra on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and soon to Sunyani” the company said.
On January 14, 2019, the airline announced the suspension of its Takoradi flight operations in a notice to its trade partners. It said the holdup was to allow the company to ‘restructure’ its approach on the route to ensure that it fully reaped the benefits of the essentially corporate’ route.
The airline is optimistic and hopeful to offer exceptional customer service, on-time departures, and other generous offers such as “it takes two”- buy two tickets and get a 13 percent discount on the second” and “bringing people together – 4 to 9 customers traveling together gets a 10 percent discount on the fare.”
These offers, PassionAir believes, would be instrumental in enabling existing and prospective customers to continuously have confidence in their relationship with the company.
Meanwhile, PassionAir is further offering 20 percent discount fares across all of its network in appreciation of the resilience of health service workers in this COVID-19 pandemic.
“It has been a challenging year for everyone and our industry in particular but we believe we will bounce back. Through it all, PassionAir has continued to operate safely while adapting to the “new normal”, taking pride in flying our valued customers home to their loved ones, or for business in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale” says Samuel Razak Tachie, Sales and Marketing Manager of PassionAir.
